What happened to you matters.
So does the life ahead of you.

A good lawyer helps you find the way forward.

I’m glad you found me.

If you’ve been injured or have lost someone you love, it can be hard to know where to begin. You may feel overwhelmed, angry, uncertain, or simply exhausted by everything you’re trying to manage. You may be replaying what happened, looking for answers, or trying to get through the day. You don’t have to put it all into words perfectly to be heard and taken seriously.

I’m Amanda, and I’m here to listen and help you understand what you can do next.

There is a life behind every case: your relationships, your work, your plans, and the everyday things that may now feel different. Understanding what this has meant for you is where our work together begins.

You can expect time to tell your story, honest answers, and clear guidance about your options. I’ll work with you to understand what matters most, prepare your case carefully, and pursue accountability, including at trial when necessary. Along the way, you will know where things stand and feel comfortable asking questions.

You don’t need to have everything figured out before we talk. We can start with what happened and take it from there.

About Amanda Carmody

I became a plaintiffs lawyer because I saw how meaningful good representation could be in someone’s life. After college, I worked at a law firm representing people who had suffered catastrophic injuries. I saw how holding those responsible accountable could help clients obtain the support they needed and regain some control over their futures. That experience led me to law school and continues to shape my work.

Joy is part of why I do this. I believe being able to enjoy your life—to connect with people you love, pursue what matters to you, and find pleasure in ordinary days—is worth protecting. An injury or loss can change those experiences profoundly. No case can undo what happened, but understanding what has been taken from someone, and what they hope for, gives purpose to my work.

My experience includes working on several eight-figure cases in Washington and New Mexico, obtaining six-figure policy-limits recoveries in trucking cases, and trying cases to verdict in Washington and Mississippi. Those experiences have reinforced my commitment to careful preparation, sound judgment, and the responsibility that comes with representing someone during a difficult chapter of their life.

My commitment to the profession extends beyond individual cases. I serve on the Board of Governors for the Washington State Association for Justice and am its Second Vice President of Membership. I previously served as co-chair of the Women of WSAJ section in 2025 and 2026, helping build community and support other women trial lawyers.

In 2024, I received WSAJ’s New Lawyer of the Year (“Ready to Soar”) Award, recognizing my advocacy for clients with compassion and empathy and my commitment to a fair justice system.
